    Hanging Upside Down

Hanging Upside DownHanging upside down is the best thing that ever happened to me. I had a long history of chronic back ache, with monthly visits to my  osteopath, until I invested in a Gravity Inversion Table. Now my back ache is gone and I have become taller, stronger and slimmer into the bargain. It figures: when you reverse the damaging effects of gravity by gentle traction in the opposite direction, the body stretches out to its full height, thereby releasing pressure on all the joints, especially the vertebrae.

    How Long For?

I go on the gravity inverter about two or three times a week for 5 or 10 minutes or when I feel stressed or pressurised by work. Apart from curing back ache, the (More …)

I ‘ve got one. I use it 2 or 3 times a week and I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Even my grandma goes on it, but not all the way down. She says it keeps her young (at 87!) :)

A friend of mine has a gravity invertor and let me have a go on it. I was a little bit scared at first but once I could control it I really enjoyed it. I will probably get one soon because it felt great losing the weight and being stretched out fully. It made me feel taller and lighter. I loved it.

Hello losers, I hate that term “losers” you find on so many other weightloss sites. It’s insulting and negative; the last thing a corpulent person needs is to be addressed as a “loser”. I found it much more helpful to discard some bad habits. I’m on my way to becoming a vegetarian. I stopped eating meat weekdays. Been doing it for a month now and got slimmer. No more heart-burns and feeling bloated after meals (except at the weekends when social life sometimes demands that I debauch as I used to). The funny thing is that I don’t miss the meat. My skin, breath ans health are all getting better. Amazing, you should all try it for a week. You’ll never look back.

Yes Frank, I gave up meat years ago. Are we preaching to the converted?

Tell me about habits! I recently stopped smoking with some difficulty. Now I eat more and gained some weight. What is this thing, that we always have to put something into our mouth? Now I’ve got into the chewing gum habit. Sugar free of course…

    • Claudette 8:38 pm on May 29, 2010 Permalink

Habit. Yes, it can work both ways. It’s a good idea to replace bad habits with good ones. I stopped drinking coffee as my staple drink because it was giving me butterflies. When I now drink the occasional cup of coffee in an italian cofee bar it’s a real treat. Aren’t rules there to be broken?

    • Francartois 3:03 am on May 31, 2010 Permalink

Habit! Tell me about it Juliette. Life is an ongoing process of improving one’s habits. There is nothing more irritating than a spouse’s bad habits but often we don’t even know we’ve got them until someone starts complaining. I noticed (and this sounds somewhat course), that my wife stopped complaining about my morning smells after I stopped eating meat.

    • SueAdams 9:00 am on June 8, 2010 Permalink

      Nice one on habits, Juliette,
Opulence, like many aches and pains, fatigue and stress related problems are the result of a life time of incorrect habits.
The good news is, as Anonymous points out so eloquently, habits can be corrected, whatever your age or weight. Even better news is you don’t have to “diet”, join a gym or put yourself through torturing exercise. With more fun and sensible tips on losing the bulge, habits can rapidly be trained to induce positive change.
